Last Day of Classes 31 October.
With very mixed emotions I will be stepping away from Hōm Studio, and with this change the studio will be closing. Our last date of classes will be Friday October 31. We will be running our full timetable up until then.
Over the past few months, I’ve been reminded of the importance of caring for what truly matters — and for me, that has meant listening to the signals in my own body that studio ownership is not the right place for me at this time.
Thank you for your support during this season. I hope to see you in the studio over the next few weeks, as we once again celebrate the ending of one season making way for the emergence of a new one.

Hi, I’m Sam, and I’m honoured to be the guardian of this space.
Hōm Studio is a continuation of the beautiful community nourished for years by Nicole and John of Raw Wellbeing. I’d been sharing breath in this space for over a year when Nicole shared she needed to step back — and it felt right to offer to hold it for a while.
My background includes a Master’s in Cross-Cultural Psychology and over a decade of experience coaching and facilitating across education, corporate, and non-profit spaces.
About five years ago, I began to notice a misalignment with corporate life and was drawn toward spiritual and embodied practices. Yoga was my doorway. As I deepened my relationship with my breath, I began to see that my body wasn’t failing me — it was trying to speak to me. I realised I’d been living outside of myself, forcing my body into shapes and rhythms that weren’t mine. Since then, my work has focused on reconnecting mind, body, and breath in order to return to relational ways of being that honour the wisdom and intelligence of our own bodies. A return to the home within.
