Each class at Hōm offers something a little different…
Whether you're looking to move, rest, breathe, stretch, or simply take a moment to land. To help you choose what feels right for your body and energy today, we’ve included some simple 1 (low) – 5 (high) ratings alongside each description. There’s no right place to start — just the one that meets you where you are.

Therapeutic

Therapeutic Yoga is mindful movement with breath to help calm your mind and body and support the regulation of your nervous system.
You can expect the first half of this class to be practiced from a chair. We then move to some gentle standing movements and finish reclined for a relaxation practice. There are variations and modifications throughout to support different needs and aliments.
This practice is designed to support anyone recovering from injury/surgery, experiencing chronic pain conditions, looking to support trauma recovery (physically and/or psychologically).

A balanced and grounding breath practice that meets you exactly where you are.
We begin with gentle movement and subtle breath practices to ease into awareness, followed by 20–25 minutes of conscious connected breathing and a spacious, restful savasana.
This practice supports emotional clarity, nervous system regulation, and inner steadiness—especially helpful during times of transition, stress, or overwhelm. With no pressure to perform, your breath leads the way. Props are available to support your comfort throughout, making this class deeply restorative and supportive of sleep, stress relief, and reconnection within.
Subtle Flow

Subtle Flow offers you a chance to move slowly, stretch, connect with your breath, and calm your mind. This practice is great as an introduction to a regular yoga practice and nourishes physically, emotionally, and energetically.
You can expect to use some yoga props including blocks, a bolster, blankets and sometimes a yoga strap or ball.
Perfect for those seeking mindful movement, recovery, or simply a slower pace.
Hatha Flow

A steady, grounding flow that builds strength and presence, ending with a pranayama (breath practice).
You can expect some flow as well as time spent in the postures and an opportunity to strengthen, stretch, align, and unwind your body and mind.
You have the option at the end to practice a pranayama (breathing) technique, or if you prefer you can take an extended savasana (relaxation).
This class is for anyone looking to build a regular yoga practice. Whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for years, it's designed to be a well-rounded experience for all.
Align

Align is a strong, full-body stretch practice that focuses on building flexibility, strength, and overall body awareness, while helping you deepen into your own alignment.
During this practice we will explore some bigger backbends and inverted poses in a supported way. Variations to suit all levels of your practice are always offered.
This class is very prop heavy. You can expect to use the wall, a yoga chair, blocks, bolsters, blankets and yoga straps.
This class is for anyone - whether you already have a strong established practice, are new to yoga, or are working with injuries and recovery, this could be the class for you.
Vinyasa

Vinyasa is a dynamic, breath-led practice to build a sense of inner heat and flow.
You can expect a dynamic sequence that moves through a variety of standing poses, possibly including an arm balance or inversion, before grounding into seated postures and finishing with relaxing savasana.
If you have an established yoga or movement practice and you enjoy moving in a fluid and dynamic way – this is the practice for you.
Yin

A slow and deeply grounding practice that invites stillness and surrender.
Expect to move through seated and reclined postures - holding each for a few minutes - supported by a variety of props to meet your body with comfort and care. Expect breath awareness, gentle challenge, and space to soften.
Yin is a quiet, meditative approach to āsana (body posture). Perfect for anyone who wants to relax, stretch deeply, and unwind body and mind.
Subtle Energy

A gentle, therapeutic practice that blends the ancient wisdom of yoga with the restorative power of energy medicine to support deep healing, renewal, and reconnection with yourself, your body, and your spirit
This practice activates the body’s energetic architecture - including the chakras, meridians, and auric field - using subtle energy techniques, movement, breath, relaxation, and meditation.
It’s designed to harmonise the flow of energy within and around the body, supporting both physical and energetic resilience.
Each class is designed to be accessible, perfect for anyone feeling overwhelmed, energetically depleted, or simply looking to reconnect with themselves. We’ll work with props, including the chair on occasion, as well as long holds where appropriate.
Whether you are new to the practice or have an established yoga routine, you will benefit from the restorative pace and calming atmosphere of this class.
Foundations

Whether you’re brand new to yoga or want to slow down and get to know your practice more, this class covers essential poses, mindful breathing, and tips on alignment to access strength and stability.
Each class will follow a similar structure as we learn and build-on foundational yoga postures and basic breathing techniques. You can expect to start on the ground as we warm up the body, work on specific standing poses and finish the practice with some deeper seated postures.
You can expect to use some yoga props including blocks, a bolster, blankets and sometimes a yoga strap or ball. There will be plenty of space to modify poses and ask questions.
Perfect for those wanting to start yoga or get back into a yoga practice.
